NVQ Level 2

Level 2 NVQ - Plant Operations CPCS requires an individual to prove operating competence through the achievement of an National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)  in order to award a full Blue Competent Operator card.  The NVQ can be completed at the candidates place of work and is achieved either by OSAT -  the on site assessment route which normally includes 2-3 visits by a suitably qualified assessor or via EWPA which can be completed at either a test centre or on site in usually one day.  Once the NVQ is completed the operator can then upgrade the Red Trained Operator Card to a full Blue Competence Card which is valid for 5 years.
